Intellectual Property

Wayfinding: Tools > Other Tools > Intellectual Property

Depending on the intellectual property and copyright laws in your area or your online platform, you will likely need to purchase rights to specific music used either in the stage show or in the final edited version. Australian Theatre Live, for example, uses MassiveMusic or Song Zu to cover their cinematic releases. You might need to pay for video segments, script segments, or even references to popular characters (anything owned by Disney comes to mind). You might also need to brush up on your local laws regarding Fair Use, or in Australia, Fair Dealing.
