I discussed Clemence Debaig’s integration of haptic devices onto a dancer’s body, so the audience could control their movements. There are also ‘rumble packs’, a specific type of haptic device, integrated into many videogame controllers, including for Microsoft’s Xbox series, and for Meta’s Quest VR headset hand-controllers. If your show is in virtual reality, or has gamified elements, you might be able to integrate more haptic feedback into your work. Additionally, if you have an in-person experience, you can find ways to integrate tactile feedback for greater immersion or interactivity.
